Disney’s Dare to Dream JR
Let’s put on a show! Audition, rehearse and present the one act musical Disney’s Dare to Dream JR! Disney’s Dare to Dream JR. is a 60-minute musical revue that follows an eager group of trainees on their first day at a fictional Walt Disney Imagineering Studio. As the group sets out to help each other discover their dreams, they work together to explore the power of dreams to unite, inspire, and make anything possible. Drawing from a century of beloved Disney films, Dare to Dream JR. features songs appearing for the first time ever in a Disney stage musical, including fan-favorites from The Princess and the Frog, Coco, Encanto, and Frozen II. This musical revue is a thrilling mix of contemporary songs, timeless classics, and brand-new medleys that are sure to surprise and delight Disney lovers of all ages.
Tuesdays 4-5:30pm starting September 8th
Tech week 4-5:30pm December 1 and 3
Performances December 4 at 7pm and December 5 at 2pm and 7pm
Tickets to the performance are $5 each.
$250 - split as $50 non refundable deposit and $50 per month September-December or you can pay in full

Film
Film Class- Grades 7-12
Go from script to screen as you write, direct, and produce an original short film to be premiered live at our end-of-the course film festival.
Thursdays 4-5:30pm starting September 10th
Film festival will be held Friday, November 6 at 7pm and Saturday November 7 at 2pm
Tickets to the film festival are $5 each.
$120 per person

Renee has directed such shows as Sweeney Todd, The Play That Goes Wrong and Making God Laugh for CVCT. She currently teaches and works with the theatre program at Dayton High School and previously served as the drama teacher at Douglas High School, where she produced multiple one-act plays and directed Little Women. She has taught English, theatre, and film classes.

Christina moved to the Carson Valley in July of 2025 from Iowa. There she was the owner and artistic director of Center Stage Performing Arts Academy for 17 years teaching dance, music, and theatre to students aged 3-adult and was the Director of Theatre for Pleasant Valley HS in Bettendorf, IA. Christina has also served as a director/choreographer in numerous educational, community, and professional theatres across the country as well as having performed leading roles in both community and professional theatres.
